MY MAMA

My mama is one of the most amazing women I could ever think of. She has the biggest heart. When she was younger, there were many challenges that she overcame and it has made her so strong. She has always challenged me in my relationship with Jesus. She has always held me accountable for decisions I have made; and loved me through the wrong ones I have made also. My parents had some rough patches in their marriage but through counseling, I saw them overcome so many obstacles. I have learned how to fight through watching my mom live her life. She always makes time for others, even if that means that the time for herself is diminished or even is obsolete. My mother is a giver, a homemaker, a pastor and even finds time to plan a party and dinner for my friends to come over. She has recently started doing and selling Isagenix and it's like when are you going to have time for that on top of everything else? It is crazy though, she finds time for everything that she feels is important and worthy. Every morning, no matter how tired she is, I see her reading her word and journal sitting in her lap. She is such an inspiration to me. I seriously don't know what I would do without her in my life. On top of everything else, I have watched her through the last 5 1/2 years without my dad around. It has been very difficult at times. She has stayed strong and has become this beacon of strength and hope. She cannot do it alone, and it's through the love and support of friends and the strength through the Lord that she can do it. She has a huge testimony and I think that she could really touch the world, with her gift for people and the Lord. There are so many of my friends who love my mom. I am super blessed to be called HERS!
